This Week’s Receipt

Not a lot to report!  We harvested a lot of kale, chard, sage and a couple of beets from the garden and traded off some lacinato kale for a gorgeous tomato.  After visiting the folks last weekend, we also got a bunch of cukes from their garden and a jar of homemade peach/thyme jam.  This week we’ve spent:

Jack’s

Whole Foods:

  • $1.78 – organic French boule
  • $3.70 – eggplant and squash (on sale for $.99 a pound!)

Farmer’s Market (Union Square)

  • $1 – bunch of radishes
  • $1 – bunch of parsley
  • $1.50 – head of lettuce

TOTAL: $11.48
