Got a lovely (LARGE) bunch of radishes with their greens from the Union Square Farmer’s Market for $1 and eggs for $1.50 (obviously not at the market). Phil then went shopping and spent $14 on egg noodles, parsley, 2 large cans of tomatoes, scallions, eggs, frozen corn, and kidney beans. Communication is key! We both bought eggs, which will last us through this week and next, but used up our budget on the same thing! These things can happen.
TOTAL FOR THE WEEK: $32.06
Good thing we have, have $2.16 leftover from last week!
We’ll be making a huge batch of crockpot chili to share with friends tomorrow night as the weather is dreary.
