What We Ate Today: Tuesday

  • Phil Breakfast: bread and butter and coffee
  • Tina Breakfast: Savory Brown Rice Jook with Collards and Carrots (yes, wow)
  • Phina Lunch: Eggplant, Leek & Orzo Casserole (leftovers)
  • Phina Dinner: Caldo Verde w/Bread, perhaps a salad

      Wow. Thanks folks. I do want to say though, we don’t really plan our meals. Generally, we go food shopping and buy the cheapest and best looking veggies and some fruit and then restock our dry goods and base recipes on what we’ve got. However, I highly recommend meal planning if it helps anyone stay in their budget!
